This initiative fosters healthy competition, promotes academic excellence, and provides networking opportunities for medical and nursing students across Zambia.

About Smart 24 Quiz

The Smart 24 Quiz, held in 2024, was a resounding success, bringing together 10 nursing schools in Lusaka, including Lusaka University College of Nursing and Eden University. The event featured a keynote address by Madam Inutu Mbagweta, the Provincial Nursing Officer for Lusaka, and saw Sunningdale University emerge as the champion in an intense academic competition. Attendees enjoyed a live performance by Roy Songster and his band, and the event was widely covered by ZNBC and streamed live on Facebook, ensuring broad visibility.

The Smart 24 Quiz not only tested students' knowledge in preparation for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) examinations but also strengthened relationships between Elitrasmart and local nursing schools, fostering a sense of community among participants.

Smart 25 National Quiz: Empowering Future Nurses

The 2025 Elitrasmart National Smart Quiz, themed "Empowering Future Nurses: Knowledge, Passion, Impact", is set to be a landmark event. This is the first step of registration, and once approved, your institution will be contacted with further guidance on how to proceed.

• Date: 8th - 10th October 2025
• Time: 08:00–17:00 daily

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing School (Government or Private institutions)
• Must offer a diploma in Registered Nursing and Midwifery and Public Health Nursing
• For Schools Outside Lusaka:
  • 3 students per panel + 1 tutor (accommodation provided)
  • Minimum of 5 supporters per school (no accommodation provided for supporters)
